Friends, today I want to share something that touched my heart. ๐พ
The Mayan Dog Rescue Foundation, founded by Steve Levine in Guatemala, has dedicated years to rescuing, rehabilitating, and training street dogs — transforming not only the lives of pups, but also the families who welcome them.

โจ Now they’re taking their mission a step further with their Dog Immersion Program — available in 8, 15, or even 30-day experiences — designed not just to help dogs, but to teach humans how to be the best parents for their pups.
During this unique program, participants learn:
๐ฑ How to prepare nourishing meals with love and intention.
๐ To lead with calm energy and presence, not ego.
๐ถ How to socialize and guide fearful or reactive dogs.
๐ก How to build safe, healing spaces that benefit both dogs and people.

What’s most beautiful: this program shows that when you feed and care for the community, you’re also helping the dogs. It’s a circle of love, respect, and connection that’s simply transformative.
And here’s the exciting news — this work is growing. ๐ While rooted in Guatemala, the foundation is now preparing to launch programs in the United States, beginning in New York, and is also building partnerships in Mexico with immersion opportunities in San Cristóbal, Monterrey, and Mexico City.

โจ In the end, I cannot help but thank Steve Levine, whose commitment and vision have made it possible for so many pups and families to find a second chance. ๐
๐ I deeply believe in initiatives like this, and I’m beyond excited to share it with you. Because as I always say… our furry friends aren’t just pets, they are family.
